Since 2014 all of our GreenLine Hotels have been certified with the eco-label GreenSign.
The criteria for the five levels of GreenSign certification are set by InfraCert.
InfraCert is an institute established to advance the development of environmental sustainability in the hospitality industry. The institute’s areas of expertise are research and development of environmentally friendly management of tourist accommodations.
It certifies hotels for their degree of environmental sustainability and corporate social responsibility. It promotes interdisciplinary exchange between science and the hotel industry.
The basis of the certification program constitutes seven core areas:
- Management and communication
- Environment (energy, water and waste)
- Procurement
- Local sourcing
- Quality management and development of environmental sustainability
- Social responsibility
- Economic responsibility
The Level of certification is awarded according to hotel’s degree of commitment
